Ashwin started his career with a minor role in Tamil film Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe where he appeared as Maya’s Friend in 2014. He subsequently casted in OK Kanmani (2015), Enai Noki Paayum Thota (2019), July Kaatril (2019) and many more. Later, Ashwin got popularly for appearing in romantic drama film Adithya Varma as Siddharth Varma. He starred with Dhruv Vikram, Banita Sandhu and Priya Anand.
In 2022, He portrayed role in Sony Liv web series Meet Cute with alongside Varsha Bollamma, Ruhani Sharma and Govind Padmasoorya.

Ashwin started his television career in 2015 with comedy serial Office where he appeared as Ashwin. Later, he got immense popularity for playing role in romantic drama soap opera Retttai Vaal Kuruvi aired on Star Vijay. Apple iPhone finally brings its biggest manufacturing unit to Hosur, Tamil Nadu. On Tuesday, Telecom and IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that the Apple iPhone manufacturing unit would be set up in Hosur near Bangalore with enclosures to Tata Electronics. It will be a big relief for the youths and gadget lovers who pay a hefty amount to buy a new iPhone. The phones are manufactured by Foxconn, Wistron, and Pegatron in India.
